Pompea Novena
The Rosary Novena to Our Lady of Pompeii (very powerful!) for repentance and reparation for our sins and those of the whole world.

We pray the Novena from 19 April (Divine Mercy Sunday) till 11 June (Corpus Christi)
How to say the Novena in groups:

(everyday for 54 days - pray 1, 2, 3 or 4 parts of the Rosary)
  • The Sign of the Cross
  • I am praying this Novena for Thy glory, Queen of the Holy Rosary and for the repentance and reparation for our sins and those of the whole world
  • Introductory prayers (Creed, Our Father, 3 x Hail Mary, Glory Be)
  • One part of the Rosary (5 decades) - for example, Joyful Mysteries
  • Finish each Rosary with the prayer below (Petition prayer for first 27 days and Thanksgiving prayer for last 27 days)
  • Say 3 times: Queen of the Holy Rosary, pray for us!

Petition Prayer 19.04-15.05 (first 27 days)
Blessed Lady of Pompeii, who has ever turned to you with confidence and has not been heard? You have never turned down any of your children, any of your worshippers, who were looking for your help, hear my plea, O Mother of the Word, and through your Holy Rosary and the Temple of Pompeii please look with favour on my devotion. Amen.
Thanksgiving Prayer 16.05-11.06
(last 27 days)
What have I to offer You, O Queen; rich in mercy and magnificence? What remains of my life I dedicate to You, and to the propagating of your devotion everywhere, O Virgin of the Rosary of Pompeii, through whose invocation the grace of the Lord has visited me. I shall promote the devotion of Your Rosary; I shall tell everyone of the mercy You have obtained for me; I shall always proclaim Your goodness towards me, so that others as well, unworthy as I and sinners, may turn to You with confidence. If al the world only knew how good You are, how compassionate with those who suffer, all creatures would turn to You. Amen

If you would like to take part please email to  indicating how many parts of the Rosary (1, 2, 3 or 4) you will be praying every day so we can form groups to make sure all four parts (sets of mysteries) are prayed.

You can pray the Rosary in your own time or along with the friars.

Group 1: Kate - Joyful Mysteries, Bernie – Luminous and Sorrowful Mysteries, Paul – Glorious Mysteries
